Board of Commissioners of Trust Funds DRAFT
Minutes of the October 13, 2011 Meeting
Present: Mayor Driscoll, Robert Lutts, Thaddeus Buczko and William P. Goreham
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Driscoll at 5:30 P.M.
Fiscal year end interest earned checks for specific funds were distributed including:
Perpetual Care $18,767.42 (City of Salem Cemetery Account)
Read Library $961.98 (Salem Public Library)
Nichols Library $278.32 (Salem Public Library)
The Salem Council on Aging submitted six requests for medication expense reimbursement for $820.45. Robert Lutts made a motion to approve the requests from the Endicott Fund. The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted unanimously.
The Board received four thank you notes from students that received scholarship awards. In addition, they received a thank you note from the North Shore Catholic Charities for the Board’s continued support.
Thaddeus Buczko made a motion to approve the minutes of the September 15, 2011 meeting. The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted unanimously.
The Mayor informed the Board that many of the fuel assistance grants will be cut this year and agencies are concerned about helping those in need this winter.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5:50 P.M.
The next meeting will be held Thursday, November 10, 2011.
